Since 2015, this long-term project has focused on the non-breeding ecology and conservation of threatened shorebirds in Bangladesh, mainly in Nijhum Dweep National Park and Tanguar Haor—internationally important sites for migratory waterbirds.

Implemented by IUCN Bangladesh in cooperation with the Bangladesh Forest Department, this project (2021–2023) delivered a multi-component programme to strengthen avifauna conservation across Bangladesh.
This project studied the migration ecology of Eurasian Curlew and Whimbrel in the Ganges–Brahmaputra–Meghna Delta in Bangladesh (2021–2023).
Since 2021, this project has investigated the migration ecology of Black-tailed Godwits in the Ganges–Brahmaputra–Meghna Delta in Bangladesh.
