Overview
This working group looks at providing opportunities for volunteering for all age groups in the CAF among CACN members. It also manages a structured internship programme for early-career ornithologists and conservationists at ringing stations, research projects, and protected areas across the flyway.
Key activities
- Coordination of volunteer placements at ringing stations and field sites.
- Management of the CACN internship programme (with OSME support).
- Development of hosting organisation partnerships.
- Training and mentoring of early-career conservationists.
- Fundraising for volunteer and intern travel support.
