WG 1 — Key Sites in the CAF

Identification and monitoring of key sites for migratory birds across the Central Asian Flyway.

Overview

This working group focuses on identification of key sites for migratory birds in the CAF, along with research supporting an update of Important Bird Areas. It builds on BirdLife sites, collaboration with the International Waterbird Census, and includes monitoring of different species groups at key sites across the flyway.
