Since 2023, this project has supported waterbird conservation in coastal Bangladesh through community engagement and practical awareness-raising. Activities include outreach with local school students, fishers, and community members on the importance of waterbirds and wetland habitats, supported by distribution of educational materials. The project promotes more sustainable practices among groups that depend on wetlands for livelihoods, aiming to reduce pressures on critical habitats. By combining education and outreach, the initiative works to strengthen local stewardship and support long-term conservation of waterbirds and coastal wetlands.
