This project studied the migration ecology of Eurasian Curlew and Whimbrel in the Ganges–Brahmaputra–Meghna Delta in Bangladesh (2021–2023). It aimed to identify migratory routes, breeding areas, habitat-use patterns, and key stopover sites, with attention to how these species use the delta during the non-breeding period. Field activities included population monitoring and behavioural observations, alongside tracking approaches to understand movements and habitat preferences. The findings contribute to a clearer evidence base on migration ecology and inform conservation considerations for these shorebirds within the Central Asian Flyway context.
